Carsten Trads: President
Carsten Trads joined Clarity as President on September 22, 2003. Trads is responsible for directing the strategic and financial direction of Clarity's global initiatives. Trads will also oversee all aspects of the company's daily operations, product development and sales and marketing activities. Trads formerly served at GN ReSound, a manufacturer of hearing aids and audiological measurement equipment, as president of North American operations. Trads joined GN ReSound in 1994, serving as a senior vice president at its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this position, he was a member of the executive management committee and led the sales and marketing organization. From 1991 to 1994 Trads was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Dancall radio, a manufacturer of cell phones and cordless phones. From 1985 to 1991, he held management positions in the distribution and marketing divisions of Bang and Olufsen, a manufacturer of consumer electronics. He graduated from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark with a degree in Business and Administration.
Ron Uldrick: Director of Finance/Controller
Ron Uldrick manages Clarity’s Finance and IT functions. Uldrick joined Clarity in 2005 as a Financial Analyst, and accepted the assignment as Director of Finance/Controller in July 2008. Prior to joining the company he was Controller for PMT, a tier 2 automotive supplier located in East Tennessee. He also spent 29 years with BASF Corporation, Velsicol Chemical Company, and Stauffer Chemical Company at seven of their North American locations in various supervisory and management roles within the accounting and finance departments. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Belmont College in Nashville.
Jamie van den Bergh: Vice President - Sales & Marketing
Jamie van den Bergh is responsible for Clarity’s Marketing development and management of Clarity’s Sales organization. He has over 20 years experience in the Telecommunications industry having held Director and Vice President positions at Motorola and Giant International. Jamie moved from Europe to the US to start Motorola’s OEM Energy Products business and went on to run Marketing and International Operations for Motorola’s Consumer Products Division. Jamie joined Clarity in 2007 to focus on Clarity’s continued development of products and solutions for those with hearing loss. Jamie received a Bachelors degree from the University of Canterbury and a Business Degree from the University of Bradford.
John Lowe: Director of Operations
John Lowe joined Clarity as Logistics Manager in June, 2005. John was responsible for the PSI Forecast, inventory control, Supply Chain Coordination with APO, Plamex and the suppliers. He also supported Operation in New Product Launches. In January, 2007, John was promoted to Director of Operations. He is currently responsible for Operations, which includes supply chain, forecasting, local shipping and receiving, and Customer Care. John maintains strong relationships with Plantronic’s Mexican Warehouse,Logistics, Asian Suppliers, Sales and Customers to improve the supply chain and support Clarity’s Business. John previously worked at Maytag Corporation and Carrier Corporation in Quality and Procurement. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS and MS in Science. Also, John graduated from the University of Memphis with a MBA.
David G. Lashley: Vice President - R&D and Q&A
David Lashley is responsible for Clarity's worldwide product development and compliance. He manages the company's engineering department and Asian vendor relations. Lashley joined Clarity in 1995 as a Senior Engineer and was promoted to Engineering Manager in 1997. Prior to joining the company, he was a Technical Project Manager and Senior Engineer with First Financial Management Corporation's MicroBilt Division. Lashley's professional experience spans both the consumer and defense electronics industries. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a graduate of the General Electric Edison Engineering Program.
